Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account regarding local events and national issues.
On June 1, 2026, Van Duyne announced an upcoming employment event in North Texas: “The countdown starts now for our 2026 North Texas Job Fair! Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 6, and join us at Globe Life Field in Arlington for one of the largest hiring events in North Texas! Last year, more than 500 employers and organizations connected with” (June 1, 2026).
Later that day, she addressed concerns about civil unrest and legislative action: “Once again, paid agitators are trying to stoke violence across the country. They are well funded by people and organizations who want chaos here in our country. Â Last year, I introduced the Stop FUNDERs Act to expand RICO statutes to include going after the individuals and” (June 1, 2026).
On June 2, Van Duyne commented on efforts to combat fraud: “BOOM! 450 major fraud schemes uncovered by @VP Vance and the @WHFraudTF. Let’s keep it up!” (June 2, 2026).
Beth Van Duyne has served as the representative for Texas’s 24th District since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. In recent elections, she defeated Sam Eppler in 2024 with over sixty percent of the vote; Jan McDowell in 2022; and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
