On December 6, 2025, Van Duyne commented on the focus of House Republicans regarding federal reforms. Beth Van Duyne has represented Texas’s 24th congressional district since winning her first election in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela by a narrow margin. In subsequent elections she secured victories over Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024 with increasing percentages each cycle.
