Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne has shared her views on government spending, highway safety, and local manufacturing initiatives in a series of posts on August 26, 2025.

In one post, Van Duyne wrote, “I am ready to vote for more rescissions, @HouseGOP is ready to cut more of the bloat and waste out of the federal government and crush job-killing regulations. If we could go back to pre-COVID spending, that would be just fine by us – bring on the cuts, we’re here for it!” (August 26, 2025).

Addressing transportation safety later that day, she stated, “This crackdown on illegal immigrant big rig drivers is essential to protect American lives and make our highways safer. In the meantime, trucking companies ought to hire American drivers!” (August 26, 2025).

Highlighting local economic efforts in Texas, Van Duyne described a recent visit: “I recently had the chance to visit @TMAC_org in Fort Worth. TMAC is committed to increasing the competitiveness of the Texas economy by growing manufacturing here at home. During the visit, I was able to tour some of the labs and learn more about the services and programs they” (August 26, 2025).

Beth Van Duyne has represented her district through several election cycles. She won re-election in 2024 against Sam Eppler with over 60% of the vote. In previous years she also secured victories over Jan McDowell in 2022 and Candace Valenzuela in 2020.
