Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne recently used her social media platform to comment on a range of policy and industry topics, including border security, trade relations with Mexico, and supply chain logistics.

On September 20, 2025, Van Duyne criticized the current administration’s immigration policies, writing: “The Biden Administration’s open border policies facilitated a crisis where hundreds of thousands children went missing, many victims of human trafficking and forced labor. Every Democrat who said, “the border is secure” and ignored this crime against humanity is complicit.”

Later that day, she highlighted an engagement with Mexican regulatory officials in another post dated September 20, 2025: “It was great to visit with the Tequila Regulatory Council who’s responsible for regulating the tequila industry in Mexico. We talked about the importance of tequila to the economy of Texas, as well as the importance of the recent launch of the public comment period for the USMCA”

Continuing her outreach efforts on September 21, 2025, Van Duyne discussed issues affecting third-party logistics providers: “I had the opportunity to meet with @tianetdotorg, they serve as the voice for our nation’s third-party logistics providers. We were able to discuss potential solutions for fraud in the supply chain, and other issues they see impacting the logistics industry.”

Beth Van Duyne has represented her district through multiple election cycles. She won reelection in 2024 against Sam Eppler by securing over 60% of votes. In previous elections, she defeated Jan McDowell in 2022 and Candace Valenzuela in 2020.
