At the Tuesday, December 13 school board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved a $10 pay increase per day for all GISD substitutes with an additional $10 for Mondays & Fridays! The stipend for all subs has also been increased from $350 to $700. Substitutes must work 50 days per semester to receive the stipend.
